The Sri Lanka Insurance Brokers’ Association (SLIBA) has announced the appointment of its new Council for the year 2025–2026, following its Annual General Meeting held on 18 December 2025 at the Ramada Hotel, Colombo.
The newly appointed Council will steer the Association in its ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of insurance brokers in Sri Lanka, while promoting professionalism, sustainable growth, collaboration, and overall industry development.
Leading the Association as President for the 2025–2026 term is Mr Ainsley Alles, supported by Mr Adel Hashim as Vice President. Ms Roshini Silva has been appointed as Secretary, while Mr Suresh Motha will serve as Treasurer. Mr Pritha Fernando, the Immediate Past President, will continue to provide guidance and continuity to the Council.
The Council is further strengthened by the appointment of the following Council Members Mr Niranjan Manikkam,Mr Sujeewa Vidanapathirana,Mr Nirosh Gooneratne,Mr Rukshan Gunasekara and Mr Indrajith Fernando
SLIBA remains committed to representing the interests of insurance brokers and working closely with regulators, insurers, and other stakeholders to enhance standards and best practices within the insurance industry.
